The purpose of this blog is to establish a well considered opinion of Collective Consciousness through the Internet and Social Media forms. Social media networking sites, blogs, and other various forms of communication as well as other web based social connection methods and tools will be analyzed for effectiveness and purpose.
This blog is for a grade for an Internet studies class but potentially will continue to operate after the class has been completed.
I myself am not necessarily a "tech" person, however growing up in Generation C (for Connected) I feel that the ability to adapt and at least use technology as a tool necessary to function both in the current academic setting as well as in the modern social setting has been ingrained in my own and future generations.
Hopefully at some point this will include a look into the variation in depth and knowledge of technology across the lines of age, interests, occupation, and other socializing factors.
Also reviewed will be the use of the Net as a futuristic printing press, freeing the masses that are oppressed by censorship.
For now that is all, and I leave you with similar thoughts of mine looking to the future of these ideas and how they will be expanded on through further research and developments in the news.
